Copyright Fund Injects 13 Million Kwacha Into Mikozi’s Ten Over 10 Project

The Malawi music industry has received a major boost after the Copyright Fund poured a massive 13 million kwacha sponsorship into the Ten Over 10 Project spearheaded by Mikozi Creative Studios. The announcement was came today upon the receiving dummy check from Copyright Fund in Lilongwe  confirming that all systems are now go for one of the region’s most anticipated talent initiatives.

The Ten Over 10 Project is designed to spotlight emerging artists from Malawi, giving them a rare opportunity to break into the mainstream. Upcoming musicians are invited to submit their music for consideration, with the best entries making it into the top 10. From there, fans will play a crucial role by voting for their favorite artists, making the competition both industry-driven and community-powered.

Winners of the project are set to receive professional production of their songs, along with high-quality music videos shot and directed by experienced creatives. Beyond production, the selected artists will also benefit from distribution deals in both Zambia and Malawi, opening doors to wider audiences and commercial growth.
