Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034. The 24-year-old England international has agreed to a one-year extension on improved terms, reaffirming his commitment to the Premier League club. Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023 and has scored 91 goals in 138 appearances across all competitions, establishing himself as a key figure in the team's attack. He has also been part of the Chelsea squad that won the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League. Palmer said discussions with the club's owners, sporting directors, manager and fellow players gave him confidence to commit his future to Chelsea. “Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I'm delighted to sign,” he said. The extension is part of Chelsea's efforts to secure the long-term futures of key players, with forward Joao Pedro also tied to the club until 2034. Chelsea are continuing to build their squad around players expected to contribute to the club's ambitions in domestic and European competitions.
