A man who dumped his wife and children in 2011 has returned to their marital home after discovering that she is now financially stable.

According to a report by the Daily Monitor, when Kisamba left, his wife, Efulansi Nalubega, had to take on the burden of providing for the family despite having a disability.Before leaving, Kisamba, Efulansi said, was a violent husband to her who often turned to her with kicks and blows each time she asked him to buy some food for the household.

After her husband left them, Efulansi had to figure out how to provide for the family, and she embarked on farming to make sure they stayed afloat.She received a major financial boost from the Ugandan government, which offered her KSh 35,000 to plant some maize.She made a profit of KSh 81,000 and invested some of these proceeds in purchasing a motorbike in order to increase her streams of income.
