Will Smith is facing a lawsuit from violinist Brian King Joseph, who has accused the actor and musician of sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Joseph, a former America’s Got Talent finalist, alleges the incidents occurred while he was working on Smith’s 2025 “Based on a True Story” world tour. In the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, he describes a “traumatic series of events,” including a disturbing incident during a Las Vegas tour stop where he claims his hotel room was accessed without permission, leaving him fearful and distressed.
Joseph also alleges that after reporting the incident to hotel security, police, and tour management, he was dismissed from the tour, which he believes was retaliation for speaking out. He says the experience caused significant emotional and psychological harm.
Smith’s legal team has denied all allegations, calling them false and stating that the actor will vigorously defend himself. Smith has not commented personally.
The case is ongoing, and no court ruling has been made.
