Are you passionate about the music industry and thrive in fast-paced environments? We’re seeking a Female Road Manager to join Emmie Deebo’s team and ensure smooth operations on her upcoming shows in Malawi, Tanzania, South Africa, Europe and the USA.
About Emmie Deebo
Born in Neno, raised in Blantyre and currently based in Lilongwe, Emmie Deebo is one of the fastest rising up-and-coming female musician from Malawi.
Notably, this year, Emmie Deebo has worked on successful music projects such as Hapa feat. Platform, Befu ft Kell Kay and Chilipo. She has also been involved in other successful projects including FRAGILE with Phyzix and Eli Njuchi, KALE with Pop Young, Qaso and Diego Watumanye and some yet to be released projects. Last year, Emmie Deebo also worked two music projects namely, Chani feat. Jeydak and Musa featuring Wikise, earning her nomination as an Upcoming Female artist at Maso Awards.
This year, she has been booked to perform and headline various top events including Zanzibar International Youth Tourism Awards in Zanzibar (Tanzania), Lake of Stars, Mingoli Festival, Best of Gwamba Concert and many other events that are yet to announce her. She is also expected to host her own concerts in Malawi and South Africa dubbed, “EMMIE DEEBO’s CITY FIESTA” in September, October and November this year.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate tour logistics including travel arrangements, accommodations, and venue logistics.
- Manage daily schedules, ensuring artists and crew are on time and prepared for performances.
- Oversee equipment setup and breakdown at venues, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Handle budgets and expenses related to tour logistics, optimizing costs while maintaining quality.
- Act as a point of contact between the band, crew, promoters, and venues, ensuring clear communication and efficient problem-solving.
- Help in identifying service providers such as makeup artists and stylists.
Requirements:
- Must be female aged between 23 to 28 years old
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of tour logistics and understanding of technical equipment preferred.
- Must have passport and driver’s license or in a process of acquiring them
- Should have a University Degree in Business Communication or any related field. Those with a diploma and proven experience will also be considered
