No Retreat No Surrender, despite a disappointing turnout for their “RoadToZanzibar” event at Glalle in Lilongwe yesterday, the reggae group Tuff Lions International Band is now preparing to hold another show tomorrow at Biwi Culture Club in the same city.
Furthermore, “When shit happens, we always turn it into fertilizer. Our upcoming event being held tomorrow on Sunday in Lilongwe at Biwi Culture Club is likely to see a large turnout,” said Chesterfari, one of the organizers.
Additionally, the lead vocalist of the band, Jah Rhyno, positively commented, “It’s simply a matter of doing even better next time. We’ve done many shows where everything was just right, but for tomorrow’s show, we will not give anything less than our absolute best.”
Moreover, Blasto, Nepman, Chizmo, Kellie Divine, Don Tars, and several other artists will take the stage once again at the Culture Club’s show tomorrow. In addition, they are organizing shows to raise funds for their second invited performance at the annual Zanzibar Reggae Festival in Tanzania in August.
Finally, Tuff Lions Band, whose defiant slogan is “Reggae Sasungula ngati Sobo,” has been a backing band for numerous internationally acclaimed Jamaican reggae artists, like Luciano, Everton Blender, and others, during their concerts in the country.
