MANCHESTER CITY FANS SHUN OUT

Real Madrid want Santiago Bernabeu roof shut against Manchester City, a request that has been approved by the UEFA.

Real Madrid asked UEFA for permission to play Manchester City under a closed roof at the Santiago Bernabeu in an effort to boost the atmosphere for Tuesday’s Champions League quarterfinal first-leg tie against the Premier League side.
Manchester City are the defending champions of the Champions League title as they won the title for the first time last season.
Pep Guardiola’s team drew 1-1 at the Bernabeu in last season’s semifinal first-leg and lost 3-1 in Madrid in the semifinal second-leg 12 months earlier. But after losing 5-1 on aggregate in last season’s semifinal, Madrid are now attempting to take full advantage of the retractable roof that was added to the stadium during a renovation that raised the capacity to 85,000 fans.

City sources have confirmed that Madrid made the request to UEFA, and the decision on whether to play with a closed roof has as of today been approved.
This is going to be a tough game for Manchester City, all in all goodluck boys…
