KDDO, who is also known as Kiddominant will soon start a Music Incubatory Program in Malawi.
This program will be done in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government, Unity and Culture.
The music incubatory program will be run under the patronage of the Minister of Local Government, Unity and Culture.The initiative seeks to promote local talent, showcase Malawi’s rich musical heritage.
As part of the collaboration, the Ministry will also be hosting international artists for performances in Malawi. This will enhance the country’s status as a vibrant hub for the cultural and creative industries, and add value to tourism.
KDDO is a renowned Global Multi-Platinum Music Producer/Artist from Nigeria and currently based in the U.S. He is also the founder of PENTLIFE MUSIC, a leading music company based in the USA.
KDDO is a pioneer in the Afrobeats genre, and has achieved impressive milestones, including over 2 billion streams globally and over 10 million units sold in the US.
His production credits include notable records such as Chris Brown’s “Under the Influence,” Davido’s “Fall,” and Mayorkun’s “Mama.” He has also collaborated with prominent artists like AKA, Bas, and Ari Lenox
The music incubatory program will provide emerging artists with a platform to develop their skills, gain industry exposure, and access resources to produce high-quality music.
The program will also facilitate collaborations between local artists and international musicians, fostering cultural exchange and artistic growth.
As a country, we are delighted to partner with KDDO and PENTLIFE MUSIC to empower Malawian artists and showcase our country’s incredible talent. We will be finalising the details of the program and we will soon announce the first call for applications so that song writers, producers can apply from across Malawi.
