Grammy award singer and songwriter Katy Perry is set to blast off into space as part of upcoming all-women space flight on Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origin New Shepherd Space Rocket.
Katy Perry born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson will be accompanied in this daring first ever flight by fiancee to Jeff Bezo, Lauren Sanches, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Ngayen and Kenane Flynn.
According to Blue Origin, this is the first all-women space flight to happen aince the Soviet Union’s Valentina Tereshkova’s solo mission in 1963.
No specific date of the launch has been communicated but it is expected to happen this spring before Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour from 23rd April to 11th November.
