He came, he saw and he is conquering. Eli Njuchi has yet delivered another masterpiece of an album titled Cifu(Chifu) which comprises of 18 songs and features artist like Malinga Mafia, Lulu and Mathumela Band, Chizmo Njuchi and Veda Njuchi.

The album has covered a wide range of concepts that affects people everyday. In Cifu, Eli has tackled the concepts of love in both happy and sombre moods, life struggles that people face day by day, life of sex workers(effects of prostitution), death of parents/relatives, cry of parents for their children in stuck diaspora to come home, marriage issues among many other issue mature concepts.

Before releasing this masterpiece of an album, Eli has been silent for over a year probably busy cooking this album which is indeed music to the ear. With every album sounding better than the previous one, this is Eli’s fifth album topping to his catalogue which has The Book of Z, The Book of Eli, Red Flag and The Jordan Year albums.

The new album is already receiving praises and appraisals from several artists and fans. It has so far received alot of positive reviews and artists as well as fans are expressing their satisfaction and appraisals through different social media platforms including Meta/Facebook.

Artists like Sangie, Onesmus, Black Nina, 6th Mw, Bee Jay & Kelly Kay have praised Eli and supported the album as a well cooked album.

His fans are also over the moon with the new album with other’s mockingly questioning whether Eli has been married before as he tackles marriage issues as if he has been in one before.

One fan posted on his meta page named Abengo saying, ” Eli Njuchi ase ndiwe dolo ndipo album yako ndaimvera yonse ma hit okha okha koma best ndi composure yi Eeeh…Eli ndiwe dolo kachikenaso”. He said as he expressed his satisfaction over the album.

Another posted on his account’s timeline named Mayeso Liva saying, “Eli Njuchi si artist wamba, imagine kuimba the whole tribute song yokhudza imfa(Dzuwa), kumwalira kwa makolo without mentioning the word ‘imfa’ itself olo kuikamo word yoti maliro or kumwalira koma nyimbo kukhala ya emotion mchochija. While artists like 6th Mw posted, ” Apapa olo album yanga itazatuluka chaka cha mawa eish! Cifu iyi chayikwapula. To add on, former artist now fashion designer, Roy View posted on meta his ratings of different songs in the album but on overall rated the album 9/10 saying the songs comprise of mature lyrics and the album deserves a Grammy.

To conclude with, the album which is only a day old already has 4 videos which are available on YouTube and each have over 100 thousand views. The visuals are stunning and food to the eye, complimenting the excellency of the audio songs which are that of Dzuwa, Ntchito, Composure and Kathumba.
