It was supposed to be a routine Baltimore-to-Miami flight. Then, about 20 minutes after takeoff, a passenger allegedly decided to drop her pants and get busy in her seat. Katy Inzer, 46, of Maryland, is accused of engaging in a sex act in full view of fellow passengers on the September 11 flight, according to a Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office report obtained by The Smoking Gun. A horrified passenger flagged down a flight attendant, saying Inzer had stripped off her pants and was allegedly pleasuring herself. When the attendant confronted her, Inzer reportedly stopped, got dressed and passed out for the rest of the flight. When the plane touched down in Miami, deputies reportedly found Inzer reeking of alcohol with bloodshot eyes. She allegedly told them the flight had been delayed two hours and that she'd knocked back several drinks before boarding. As for what happened mid-flight? She reportedly claimed she had no memory of it because she'd been asleep. Now the FBI Is Involved Because the alleged incident happened in the air, the sheriff's office kicked the case to the FBI over federal jurisdiction questions. As of The Smoking Gun's report, no charges had been filed, and the status of the federal inquiry is unclear. American Airlines confirmed its crew handled a disturbance but gave no details about what actually went down. Everyone else on the flight just wanted pretzels and a nap. Instead, they allegedly got a front-row seat to the most uncomfortable show of their lives.
