Donald Trump has officially entered his golden era — but this time, he is completely naked. A jaw-dropping 2.5-metre golden statue depicting Trump in the nude has appeared inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, leaving visitors with plenty to stare at and even more to talk about. Covered in 23-karat gold leaf, the bizarre artwork shows Trump sitting high on the shoulders of a much smaller man while casually clutching an oversized golf club. Because apparently, a giant naked Trump needed one more thing to make the scene unforgettable. The sculpture, titled “The Orange Plague” and also known as “King of Injustice,” was created by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt. And before anyone starts blaming Brussels, the European Parliament insists this isn't some official Trump tribute. The statue was brought into the building as part of a temporary exhibition hosted by a Danish member of Parliament. Galschiøt says the artwork is political satire taking aim at Trump's positions on climate change, international cooperation and inequality. Whether you call it art, trolling or the world's most extravagant political roast, one thing is certain: Trump has never looked quite this golden — or this exposed.
