Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has officially been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, the Metropolitan Police in the UK has confirmed. The charges are linked to three separate women and relate to alleged incidents that took place between October 2021 and July 2022.
The Ghanaian international, who recently left Arsenal following the expiry of his contract, is expected to appear in court in October 2025. The allegations include:
- Two counts of rape involving a woman in October 2021
- Three counts of rape involving a different woman in December 2021
- One count of sexual assault involving a third woman in July 2022
