A woman, along with three others, has been arrested in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool for allegedly injecting a doctor with an HIV-infected syringe in a shocking act of revenge. According to police sources, the victim is the wife of the woman’s former lover, and investigators believe the attack was carefully planned. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many calling it one of the most disturbing personal revenge crimes reported in the region.
Authorities revealed that the suspects allegedly tracked the doctor’s movements and carried out the attack in a calculated manner, using a syringe believed to contain HIV-infected blood. The victim was immediately rushed for medical evaluation and preventive treatment, while forensic teams were deployed to verify the contents of the injection and determine the source of the infected material.
Police in Kurnool confirmed that all four suspects are in custody and will be charged under multiple serious criminal provisions, including attempted murder and causing grievous harm. The case has raised serious concerns about the misuse of medical instruments for violent crimes, prompting calls for stricter controls and stronger legal consequences for such acts.
