Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked a storm on social media after revealing distressing details about her past relationship with her ex-husband, businessman Ned Nwoko.
In an emotional outburst shared on her Instagram story, the actress expressed deep fear that a private sex tape—which she claims was entrusted to her ex-husband during their marriage—might be released. Regina said she once trusted him completely but now feels betrayed.
“I trusted you with all of me, even with my sex tape, which I pray never sees the light,” she wrote. “You have always been a step ahead negatively. Foolish me! When I married you at 17, was I on drugs?”
Regina also addressed long-standing rumours that she had engaged in drug use, alleging that such claims were part of her ex-husband’s attempts to tarnish her image.
“It is now in history that ‘Regina Daniels did drugs’ because that was what her husband wanted people to believe,” she lamented.
The actress reflected on her early marriage at just 17 years old, saying that the experience and its aftermath have taken a serious emotional toll on her, but vowed to reclaim her story and reputation.
“My name is ruined for now, but I will rewrite my story! That narrative will be dead and gone. Now that I have let the one thing you have on me out, what else? It’s time to fight with all of me in court!” she declared.
Concluding her post, Regina sent a powerful message to her critics and ex-husband, stating that while she feels broken, she remains resolute and grounded in faith.
“I’m so pained! I am ruined! Y’all can laugh, but the laughter won’t be for long as long as I serve my God.”
