Rapper and father of Rihana’s two children, A$AP Rocky has as of today been found not guilty of two counts of felony assault at the verdict of the trail that has been goin on for weeks in Los Angeles.
A$AP Rocky has dodged more than 2 decades in prison if he was found guilty of the alleged charges against him following an alleged attack on a former friend in Hollywood in 2021.
According to court proceeding reports, there was commotion in the courtroom as the jury verdict was read out, with the Grammy nominated rapper whose real name is Rakim Mayers, emotionally hugging people in relief as he was declared not guilty.
Rakim Mayers was being persecuted for allegedly firing a nine millimeter semi-automatic weapon during a confrontation with Terell Ephron AKA A$AP Relli on November 6, 2K21. On his defence, Rakim insisted that he had been carrying only a harmless prop gun on that said day.
Defending attorney, Joe Tacopina said the whole story of a shooting had been manufactured to extort money from his wealthy and successful client. He further described Ephron as a “Criminal and Perjurer” addding that the district attorney should look long and hard at prosecuting Terell Ephron AKA A$AP Relli.
Rihana has been supportive of A$AP Rocky throughout the case and has been seen attending every court proceedings from the onset of the trial and today when A$AP Rocky has walked out of the court a free man.
