A total of 7 people have died from yesterday to today in Manase, Blantyre after they consume an unknown alcoholic spirit. It is suspected that the alcoholic spirit which is locally called by several names such as; Ambuye Tengeni, Magagada, Taya Njinga or Baluda is used as disinfectant but others consume it to get drunk. Police are yet to confirm of the development.
